Unit Titles Disputes

Join us for an upcoming CPD session exploring the complex and evolving landscape of unit titles disputes. This session will provide a practical, high-level overview of the key legal risks and common pitfalls to be mindful of when advising clients in this area.

Designed for litigators and property practitioners, the programme will examine:

  • The strict statutory duties imposed on bodies corporate under section 138 of the Unit Titles Act, particularly in relation to repair and maintenance obligations for shared building elements
  • The High Court’s power under section 74 to approve a “scheme of repairs,” including its role in overcoming funding and voting deadlocks during building remediation
  • Emerging issues relating to codes of conduct and governance within bodies corporate

This session will equip practitioners with a clearer understanding of how to navigate complex disputes and provide sound, strategic advice in a technically demanding area of practice.

Further details to follow.
