Agreement to Lease: Drafting for Your Desired Leasing Outcome

Usually before entering into a leasing arrangement, an agreement to lease will be signed prior to entry into a deed of lease. The agreement’s role is to record the essential terms of the parties’ intentions for the relationship between landlord and tenant. TLANZ’s new Agreement to Lease Sixth Edition 2024 is now the commonly used version of this pivotal document, which has many new options reflecting market changes to input into the deed of lease.

Aimed at commercial real estate professionals, this Q&A-style webinar will address key issues arising under, how to record intentions, and typical errors with using, the TLANZ form, when dealing with the different options available within the document.

Registrants are invited to submit questions in advance of the webinar to cpd@tlanz.nz
