TLANZ Agreement for Sale and Purchase of a Business

The “boomer sell off” is estimated to result in the transfer of 10,000 small and medium enterprises (SME) in the next five years in New Zealand. But sellers, purchasers, lenders and their lawyers need to proceed with care – business sales can be complex. 

This webinar will take a practical approach in considering some of the key matters in this area, including:

  • the TLANZ standard form of agreement, particularly key clauses;
  • additional drafting considerations and common further terms; and
  • practical issues that commonly arise.

Relevant cases and examples will be used to illustrate key points.
