Claire is a Partner in the Business, Property and Personal Legal Services Team at Rainey Collins in Wellington, focusing on assisting clients, including iwi, Maori land trusts and businesses, with opportunities and challenges in relation to Commercial contracts and transactions, including Joint Ventures, Limited Partnerships, Company advice and structuring, Leases, Shareholders’ Agreements and buying and selling Businesses. She is also experienced in the areas of Residential and Commercial Property, including a particular interest in Maori land, and often advises Bodies Corporate regarding unit title issues. Claire’s other areas of specialty and interest include Trusts, Asset Protection, Wills and Estates, and she regularly provides advice regarding Maori land trusts, succession applications to the Maori Land Court and gifting of Maori land in Wills. Claire writes the Maori Land column for the Property Lawyer magazine and regularly presents webinars and seminars on a variety of legal issues.
