Garth has been a Prosecutor for over 20 years, working in numerous jurisdictions including the High Court in Niue. He also took a sabbatical studying law at Canterbury University.
He was also a National Trainer for PPS, providing advocacy training to Police and other government agencies throughout NZ and some Pacific Islands.
Outside Police, Garth’s interest include motorsports participating in TARGA rally races, and brass banding as a member of the Wellington Brass Band winning multiple championships in Australasia and as manager of the NZ National Brass Band.
In his downtime, he enjoys time with his Bernese Mountain dog Hudson.
