John Kang
Description
John is a Principal Solicitor who leads the Prosecutions Team at Auckland Council. He manages a wide range of cases under the Dog Control Act, Food Act, Building Act, and Resource Management Act. Prior to joining Auckland Council, John built a diverse portfolio of experience in criminal and regulatory practice, including as a Crown Prosecutor with Meredith Connell in Auckland and Preston Russell in Invercargill, a Prosecutor with the New Zealand Police, and a Senior Solicitor with the Department of Internal Affairs in Wellington. During his weekends, John volunteers as an Honorary Fishery Officer with the Ministry for Primary Industries.
