Hannah Kim

Description

Hannah was admitted to the bar in 2006 and practised as a junior barrister till 2012, moving on to becoming a barrister sole. She practises criminal law predominantly in South Auckland and regularly appears in Court covering various hearings including jury trials. She also has experience in hearings in prisons such as parole hearings, disciplinary hearings and recall hearings for clients in different prisons nationwide. 

Hannah is passionate about prisoner's rights and prison reform. She appeared before the select committee on a number of occasions advocating for law reform regarding criminal justice system. She is the co-convener of the Parole and Prisoner’s Rights Committee at the law association.
