Nick is the Head of Legal & Compliance at MAS (Medical Assurance Society), a mutual which provides general insurance, life and disability insurance, investments, and financial advice to its Members. Nick joined MAS in 2017 as sole counsel and now leads a team of 6 supporting MAS’s legal, compliance, company secretary, and regulatory affairs functions. Before joining MAS, Nick worked in dispute resolution as a case manager and mediator at financial ombudsman scheme FSCL, and then representing the interests of the general insurance industry in regulatory affairs and government relations at the Insurance Council of NZ.
