Jack Oliver-Hood is a barrister practising in commercial and criminal litigation, with a specialisation in intellectual property. His prior experience includes clerking for the Hon Chief Justice Winkelmann and the Hon Justice Cooper, and junioring for Andrew Brown QC of Bankside Chambers. Jack holds law degrees from the University of Auckland and Columbia University. He previously taught the law of evidence at the University of Auckland in 2017 and 2018, is an author of Mahoney on Evidence, and has published articles on the subject in the New Zealand Law Review and New Zealand Law Journal. With the support of the New Zealand Law Foundation, Jack is also currently researching the use of scientific evidence in trials in Aotearoa New Zealand.
