Stephen Tomlinson

Description

Stephen is the principal of Tomlinson Law.  Stephen has lectured in taxation, finance and business law at the University of Canterbury and is a well-known presenter of taxation and trust law seminars and webinars.  Stephen advises lawyers, accountants and other clients on a wide range of tax issues, including the taxation of trusts.  He is a member of the NZLS Taxation Committee and The Law Association Trust Law Committee, and assisted the New Zealand Law Society in preparing and presenting submissions on the 39% trustee tax rate reforms, and also on the Commissioner’s draft guidance on tax planning and the 39% trustee tax rate.
