Bridgette is an experienced commercial, regulatory and insolvency litigator. She has expertise in complex contractual and commercial disputes, regulatory investigations and enforcement activity, fair trading and consumer protection claims as well as insolvency claims (including breaches of directors' duties).
Bridgette is recognised as a leading barrister in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific Guide 2025 in which she is described as being “a great communicator. She had tremendous people skills and strong litigation instincts.” She is further listed in Doyle's Guide 202 as a Leading Insolvency and Restructuring Barrister in New Zealand. Bridgette is also recognised as a leading litigation, insolvency and restructuring lawyer in New Zealand by Best Lawyers 2025 Guide.
Before joining Bankside, Bridgette was a senior litigator at Russell McVeagh. She has appeared in the District and High Courts and the Court of Appeal (as both sole and junior counsel) and has experience in mediations, arbitrations and authority hearings.
