Standards Committees and the Disciplinary Tribunal: a Roadmap

Complaints about lawyers are considered in the first instance by Lawyers Standards Committees and the Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal. This webinar addresses what you need to know about the processes, both as a practitioner who might need to respond to a complaint at some point or as someone who represents lawyers facing such complaints. It will examine the two different paths, including commonalities and differences, and developments that practitioners need to know about. It will have a practical focus with reference to cases and hypothetical examples.

Registrants are invited to submit questions in advance of the webinar to cpd@thelawassociation.nz

Who should attend?

All practitioners; lawyers who represent other legal practitioners on professional standards matters.
