How to Be a Good Junior Litigator

Auckland

Join us for an insightful panel discussion featuring expert litigators David PH Jones KC, Craig Andrews, and Samira Taghavi as they share invaluable tips and strategies for younger practitioners on how to effectively support their senior colleagues in the court room and beyond. This session is designed to provide junior lawyers with the skills necessary to become invaluable team members during trials and high-pressure situations. Key areas of focus will include effective communication, preparation and organisation techniques, navigating courtroom dynamics, and managing hierarchal challenges.

This interactive session will also allow attendees to engage with seasoned professionals, ask questions, and gain insights into cultivating a collaborative and supportive legal environment. Equip yourself with the tools to enhance your contributions to the team and excel in your legal career!

We encourage attendees to submit any questions or specific scenarios that you would like addressed during the session. Your input will help us tailor the discussion to your needs and ensure that the topics covered are relevant to and beneficial. Please email any questions and scenarios to cpd@thelawassociation.nz.

Following the panel discussion, join us for networking drinks and nibbles from 6:30pm – 7:30pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow junior lawyers, share experiences, and build your professional network in a relaxed setting.
